Recap | DUSA 818 HR Day 2025

On August 15th, the DUSA European Association Suzhou hosted its highly anticipated annual DUSA 818 HR Day at Xinhong Industrial Park, bringing together over 60 HR managers and directors from member companies.  This year's timely theme, "The Future of Work: How to Navigate an Era of Disruptive Change," directly addressed the accelerating transformation reshaping global workplaces.

The full-day event served as a critical platform for exploring how HR can steer organizations through unprecedented volatility, with a central focus on leveraging AI for competitive advantage and building human-centric resilience. As traditional paradigms shift, the discussions highlighted HR's pivotal role in redefining strategy amidst disruption.

One of the central themes "The Corporate Competitive Advantage in the AI Era"  examined how AI integration moves beyond efficiency to fundamentally reshape business models and workforce planning. 

Moving "Beyond Resilience," experts unveiled Antifragile motivational models designed to thrive on volatility, enhancing true employee engagement in uncertain times. "Tech Talent Recruitment Breakthrough: From Pain Point Insights to Precise Matching" offered data-driven solutions for critical talent acquisition challenges.

Recognizing that HR professionals must themselves adapt to AI to lead effectively, "HR's AI Growth Map: From Learning to Empowering Teams" shared real cases of upskilling HR professionals to deploy AI ethically and effectively within their teams.

A highlight of the day was the Business Simulation: An AI-Powered Game Exploring Cost-Effective Digital Business Warfare. This interactive workshop allowed attendees to apply AI-driven strategies in a simulated business environment, making real-time decisions to optimize costs, enhance productivity, and outperform competitors.

And "Cultivating Next-Gen Leadership" outlined the imperative shift from functional expertise to strategic visioneering.

DUSA 818 HR Day 2025 proved more than an evet, it was an essential catalyst for collaboration. It equipped HR professionals with the insights and networks necessary to confidently lead their organizations through disruptive change, ensuring they are architects of the future of work, not merely responders to it.
