Recap | 2026 DUSA 818 HR Day

On August 14th, the DUSA European Association Suzhou hosted its annual DUSA 818 HR Day, gathering more than 40 HR professionals and managers to explore the theme of organizational resilience. The day began with welcome remarks from DUSA, followed by a series of insightful themed sessions.

The industrial outlook session examined global shifts and their implications for business strategy, presented by c.j. Ng.

Jennie Xian and Wing Zhang from Creation Technology Changzhou then presented on building competitive advantage in volatile markets.

After a tea break, Hansen Hu (HCTS) discussed sustaining employee engagement in uncertainty, and Cathy Cang (Directions) led a coaching session on robust transformational leadership.

The afternoon program featured Grace Yang (Manz) on inclusive resilience and people-centered leadership, followed by Yuki Hao (Manz) with updates on the DUSA Young Talent Development Program (DARE/DASH).

Stephaine Wee (B. Braun) addressed developing resilient leaders from functional managers to strategic drivers.

The event concluded with an Open Space facilitation session led by special guest Jin Shalang, where participants collaboratively explored HR resilience challenges and innovations in China.

Overall, the event successfully combined expert presentations and interactive dialogue, equipping HR professionals with actionable strategies to foster resilience in their organizations.
